Jeannie Barrick

Jeannie Lovett Barrick serves on the music theory faculty at Texas Tech University where she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in music theory and aural skills.

Barrick is an active choral musician and can be heard on Grammy-nominated Conspirare recordings, Requiem, Threshold of Night, and Conspirare in Concert (all on theHarmonia Mundi label) recorded as part of a national fundraising effort for PBS television. She has also been a featured soloist with the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra and made her Carnegie Hall solo debut with the Texas Tech University Choir in 2010.

Barrick is the youth choir director at First United Methodist Church in Lubbock and a headshot, portrait, and wedding photographer. She is the wife of Clint and mother of Rachel Kathryn.
